Alfi Duran, also known as “The Tuxedo emcee in shorts!”, a charismatic emcee with years of experience in the events industry since 2006, has hosted for countless shows including Product Launches, Kids Events, Mall Promotions, Private Functions, Corporate Dinners, and more! Packed with energy and great versatility on stage, Alfi is able to think right on his feet. Coupled with his humorous personality, he can very quickly engage his audience be it kids, youths or adults.
Alfi has been the Emcee / Master-of-Ceremonies for many events in Singapore since his first performance in primary school while hosting for his schools’ talent show.
He has then pursued his true passion – Emceeing and Hosting. He has to date emceed countless events. Alfi has had the fortune to be given the opportunity to emcee memorable events; from co-hosting with celebrity emcees like Kumar and Najib Ali in 90an Gerek with guest appearances from Malaysian Rock Stars Amy Masturah and Amy Search – to emceeing for kids’ birthday parties.
He has also been invited to refine his acting skills on TV and did a stint for MediaCorp Suria Malay hit TV drama “Cinta Ixora”, “Atuk PHD”, “Masih ada Embun di tengah hari” and many more alongside reputable names in the acting and filming industry. He was recently invited as a guest penalist for Suria’s “Kita Gerek” with celebrity artists Art Fadzil, Asnida Daud, Fiza-O, Bancho the Matrep(Celebrity Vlogger) and many more.
Having hosted for Fighting championship events in Singapore, Alfi makes no mistake in hyping up the crowd! With experience with martial arts as well, he certainly understands the rules of the game. The recent Ultimate Satria Championship was an inaugural event as the next big thing in professional fighting involving silat. For the first time ever in Singapore.. The Ultimate Silat Championship (USC) 2012, a full contact fighting championship.. An effort to bring silat to international level in ultimate fighting organised by Macan Association Singapore.
Even with experiences with up-scale events, Alfi still LOVES emceeing Roadshows – He has emcee-ed numerous Roadshows in friendly neighbourhood malls where he has shows his ability to connect with the audience from all walks of life, up-close-and-personal.
With his mission statement “Your event is his business” Alfi never fails to assist clients in making their event a huge success.
